PRODUCT DETAILS:
What is Yarrow? Achillea millefolium (common yarrow) is a perennial forb that grows about 2-4 feet tall. Here in Wisconsin, it tends to grow by roadsides and small open areas. It has large fragrant flowers throughout July.
The flavor of the tea made with yarrow depends a lot on where it was harvested and when it was harvested. Yarrow flowers collected in the early morning vs evening have a noticeable difference in flavor. Mainly because they contain more essential oils in the morning before the sun has time on it throughout the day.
Yarrow makes a pleasant and fragrant tea.
